Sunday 14th February was not only Valentines Day this year but also marked the start of the Chinese New Year. 2010 is the year of the Tiger and to celebrate, I have carved this Tiger and Monkey piece for my Let's Play Series. A Limited Edition of just 200 and available from your usual retailer from late February. We have called the piece 'Tiger Tease' inspired by this very funny You Tube clip:

As news of the continuing plight of the Haitian People keeps filtering through, we would like to do something to raise money to help the survivors of this catastrophe. With the help of the ABC and the ABE Collectors Board we have decided to hold a raffle with all the proceeds going to the 'Hope for Haiti Now' Charity..........you can visit their website at www.hopeforhaitinow.org to find out more about how the money will be spent but they do state the following:

"100% of funds raised will go towards relief efforts in Haiti and there are NO backend costs.

Your gift will help rush emergency supplies to survivors of this catastrophe. Your gift now will help distribute life-saving relief supplies including food, clean water, blankets, medical supplies and tents to children and families devastated by the earthquake and aftershocks in Haiti."

The Raffle tickets will cost $5 each or $20 for five tickets in the US and £3 each or £12 for five tickets in the UK.

You can purchase Raffle tickets for one month from today until the 4th March, five winners will be drawn on the 16th March, each winner will be able to choose any standard release marble resin piece that is not marked as 'Sold Out' or 'Retired' on the website and we will Bling it in the colours of your choice.

To enter you should make your checks directly out to "Hope for Haiti Now" and send them along with your email address (or postal address if you do not have an email address) to the relevant addresses below:

We thought we'd start the decade by going back to basics with this beautifully simple Tortoise box figurine. It is a Limited Edition of just 200 and will be available from your usual retailer from late January.

To add some extra excitement we have placed a raffle ticket inside every box, we will draw the winning ticket once the edition has sold out and the lucky holder of that ticket will win a very exclusive Bling Tortoise.
 

This Owl Palm Charm is also available in January. A Limited Edition of 150, we decided to make it a smaller edition than usual as we have already released it wearing its' festive hat.

This year's Christmas piece, 'Ho Ho Ho' features four naughty mice dressing up as Santa. It is made up of three separate pieces and fits together as you can see in the photo. It is a Limited Edition of 250 and has a one in five variation.

 

We thought it a real shame that the Mice in Boots would be covered with Santa's coat so we couldn't resist adding a Christmas hat and releasing it as a separate piece. The Owl was also in need of some festive cheer but will be released without the hat in the new year. Both pieces are Timed Editions and only available to order until the end of 2009.

 

 

And finally.......... last but not least we have this set of three Christmas Ornaments. The 'Tree Frogs' have a Limited Edition of 300 and along with all the other Holiday Releases, are available from your usual retailer from early December.
 
 
   

'Pond Hopper' is a sister piece to 'Pond Party' featuring a solitary Frog searching for the Party!! Once again we were unable to decide on a final colour for the Frog so we've given you the choice of either green or yellow. It is a Limited Edition of 250 and we will publish the final edition size of each colour when the piece has sold out.
 
 

This month I am happy to announce two new releases
from my Netsuke Series.
'Anubis', the Egyptian Cat is an ebony piece with gold detailing, whilst 'Pond Party' features a group of Frogs frolicking around on a Lily Pad.
Both pieces are Limited Editions of 250,
and 'Pond Party' has a 1 in 5 variation
 
The Pale Green Hazel Frog from the new 'In a Nut Shell' Series will also be available in August.

This year's Club piece depicts a Toad sitting in a Walnut shell, it's a bit of a 'Tight Squeeze'
but he's managed to cram himself in!!!

The Ivory and Green box version is the Club Piece and will renew your membership,
it also comes with a Toad button if you renew before the end of April 2009.

The Brown solid version is only available to new / renewing members and like the button,
is only available until the end of April.
 
These two Armadillos from my Netsuke Series are also available this month............ slightly reminiscent of my Roly Poly's, the plain Ivory version is a box and a Limited Edition of 250, the solid version which has a darker face is a Club Redemption piece and available exclusively to Club Members until the end of March 2010.
