During westward expansion from the
mid-19th century until the early 20th century, wolves were hunted to the
brink of extinction in the lower contiguous 48 states of the USA, having
already been eradicated in Europe decades earlier. In late 1993 the
Endangered Species Act (ESA) saved the wolf from oblivion. In 1995
Canadian wolves were reintroduced to key habitats, including the Greater
Yellowstone region and the Northern Rockies, bringing uncontrolled
nature once again into balance, and allowing for the return of grasses,
plants, flowers, insects, birds, beaver, fish, fox, pronghorn, and other
species. In 2008 the wolf is again under
attack. The removal of the wolf from the Endangered Species List (ESL)
will permit massive slaughter by aerial shooting, and baiting and
trapping in Wyoming, Idaho, and Montana. In Alaska, wolves face similar
predation. Defenders of Wildlife have initiated legislation for the
Protection of American Wildlife (PAW) Act to stop such atrocities. It is
only through the restoration of balance in nature that all species will
receive equal opportunity to survive. |

Lisa and I will be packing our
suitcases and heading Stateside later this year. We will be visiting Mima's of
Warwick in New York during the weekend of 13th September and then heading to
Chicago for the following weekend; 20th September, where Fin-alley Gifts will be
hosting the second event.

I'm really excited to reveal this year's Tour piece; 'Kiss n' Cuddle', a
tribute to 'Kiss n' Tail' which helped launch my solo career and is still
the most sought after piece of my collectable range to date.
Mima's Event piece features the Cat 'cuddling' the
Lizard. Ann's Event piece features the Frog and the non-attendee
piece, which can only be purchased from Mima and Ann,
features the Mouse.
The Event pieces are strictly available, one per attendee and must
be pre-ordered. The non-attendee piece is obviously open to everyone and
collectors may purchase multiple pieces.

be exclusively available to attendees, the Frog at Mima's event and the
Lizard in Chicago. Each Pin is adorned with up to 50 Swarovski crystals,
brightening even the dullest of English days!! As this is not the main
Event piece, each attendee will be able to purchase a maximum of two
Pins. Lisa and I are really
looking forward to seeing you all again after a year away, September
can't come soon enough for us. I hope that the exclusive Event pieces
and the Pins will temp you into making the journey to join us. I know
that Mima, and Ann have lots of exciting things planned for us to
enjoy along with good food and fine wine for those of us that partake!! |

Finally, I would really like to stress that the
attendee pieces will be strictly available to those that attend, we will
only be making enough pieces to cover the pre-orders. If you do attend
and you haven't pre-ordered then you are of course entitled to a piece
and we will take care of you after the event but if you pre-order and
cannot attend (for any reason) then you will either be offered a refund
or the non-attendee piece. There will be absolutely no exceptions to
this rule. |

| 'Maple Frog' is the latest release
from the Netsuke Series; a Limited Edition of 500, the standard version
is a box and has three colour versions, 150 Green Frogs in a Green Leaf,
150 Yellow Frogs in a Green Leaf and 150 Green frogs in a Yellow Leaf
plus a one in ten variation which is a solid piece featuring a Green
Frog in a Red Autumnal Leaf. The Maple
Frog boxes will be shrink-wrapped (or equivalent) to ensure that the 50
Solid pieces are sent out randomly by our Dealers. |

I am really pleased to announce the release of this
250 Limited Edition marble resin tiger piece, ‘TigerWoods & Madonna at
Play’, to help raise funds for ‘Save China’s Tigers’.
Tigers originated in China more than 2 million years ago
and up until 100 years ago there were 8 tiger sub-species in the world.
There are now only 5, and the ancestor of all these, the Chinese Tiger,
is the most endangered of all, with an estimated total population of
less than 100. |

‘Save China’s Tigers’ are a charitable organisation
committed to saving the Chinese Tiger from extinction through an innovative
conservation plan and Tiger Reintroduction Programme. They desperately need
funding in order to be able to carry out this essential work before time
runs out, which is why Adam Binder Editions will be donating £20 from each
piece sold to raise £5000 to help towards the much needed rehabilitation of
the Chinese Tiger population.

| I am really pleased to announce the release of this Timed
Edition, Cold Cast Bronze Trout piece to help raise funds for the UK 'Trout
in the Classroom' project. 'Trout In
The Classroom' is a fast growing multi-award winning eco-initiative
taking nature into the classroom. Hatchery units are placed in schools
around the country and children oversee the development of trout and
salmon eggs into fry. After approximately 12 weeks the swim-up fry are
released with great pride, by the children, into their local river. In conjunction with the
Loopy Ladies
at the Clothes Rail we will be donating £10 / $20 from each piece sold to
help raise the £1000 needed for each hatchery........so for every 100 pieces
sold we will be enabling one more school to take part in this project. |

| We had a fantastic time on Saturday at
the launch of 'Spawn Free'. It was a huge honour to meet David Bellamy
and was great as always to see some familiar faces. The raffle and
auction raised a massive £1000 which will pay for the first hatchery and
we are well on the way to selling the first one hundred pieces which
will pay for hatchery number two. I would like to thank David for taking
the time out of his busy schedule to join us and of course the Loopy
Ladies who made the day a great success. Thanks to everyone who attended
and also everyone who purchased the piece on-line or who bought raffle
tickets, your support is very much appreciated. |
